SUPPORTING MEMBERSHIP INDIVIDUAL WCAT recognizes individuals for their support of local access television with a message on the community bulletin board. All members receive discounts on WCAT services (tape copying, classes, etc.). In addition, donations to WCAT are tax deductible.

  NON-PROFIT Non-profit groups and organizations are invited to participate on the show "French Square is Talking" which highlights upcoming fundraisers and town events. All notices from non-profits are advertised free of charge on the community bulletin board.

  BUSINESS

All business members receive their own "thank you" page on the community bulletin board for five weeks (24/7) and then every Sunday for the remainder of the year. Your page may include any information about your business: services or products offered, hours, phone number, website). A great and inexpensive way for a small business to get exposure on TV.

PRODUCER MEMBERSHIP PRODUCER Upon completing a WCAT course in television production, producers in good standing are allowed full use of the studio, editing systems, and all portable production equipment. Producer members in good standing are also entitled to vote in WCAT elections and may run for the Board of Directors.

TO JOIN  To become a supporting member of WCAT, send dues with the category of membership to: WCAT, 165 Winthrop Street, Winthrop, MA 02152. Include the name (add the contact person if it is a business or non-profit organization), telephone, and address. Also supply any information you wish to be included on your "thank you" page on the community bulletin board.
 

To become a producer at WCAT, call the station at 617-846-3400 to sign up for the next video production course. The 12-week course for beginners is offered throughout the year for only $100.00 (includes all materials and first year producer dues).
